Saké Menu

Nama SakÈ - Rare

Nama means "fresh" or "raw". This saké is unpasteurized and has a shorter shelf life than other saké. Because the yeast enzymes are still alive, you may experience the effect of them dancing on your tounge!

Kasumi Tsuru Namazake Shiboritate Genshu

This is seasonal saké from Japan that has never been pasteurized. This saké is light and lively with a fresh green apple flavor that will delight your palate. This rare saké will only be here for a very short time and not be back until next February. Highly Recommended!!!

Momokawa Namazake

A nama from Saké One in Forest Grove, this is an unpasteurized Genshu (cask strength) with live yeast, giving it a young and fresh bouncing flavor. The brew master bottles only about 200 bottles per month, and he chooses from any of the saké actively fermenting at the time.

Specialty Imported Nigori and Sparkling Saké

Nigori saké is "cloudy" saké. Some of the lees, white rice particles that did not ferment, are left in the saké through rough filtration or added back into filtered saké. Sparkling saké is made from Junmai saké in which extra yeast has been added to create the carbonation.

Momokawa Nigori Genshu

Extremely rich and creamy. The slightly higher alcohol (19%) blends perfectly with the sweetness. This saké coats your palate, while leaving a lingering, creamy finish.

Taruzake

This saké has been aged in cedar barrels as saké was aged in the past. Cedar aging gives this saké a strong, deep natural cedar flavor. Slightly dry and rare, this saké has a long finish.

Saké 2 Me

Sparkling Junmai saké with all natural flavors: Asian Pear, Ginger Mango, Green Tea, and Yuzu Citrus

Gekkeikan Nigori

Gekkeikan has created a very thick nigori with semi-coarse mouth feel. This nigori is slightly sweet with a good, long lasting nigori flavor. Great for nigori fans.

Tozai - Snow Maiden

Tozai is not sweet in comparison to many other nigori saké. This nigori is thick and chunky. It has a tangy flavor throughout.

Hakutsuru Sayuri

Light, creamy and soft. This saké is a favorite among all nigori fans. The sweetness is as soft as the pink bottle.

Hou Hou Shu Sparkling Saké

This saké is the class of Sparkling-Champagne. Lots of bubbles surrounded by a sweet atmosphere of cotton-candy flavor. A must try. At only 6% alcohol, this saké is perfect for those who want something pleasant and light.

Hana Hou Hou Shu Sparkling Sake - ´Pink Sparkling´

Hana means "flower" in Japanese. This special and unique sparkling saké has a natural infusion of hibiscus and rose hip that is present in the flavor of this low alcohol, bubbly saké.
